Gopa Kumar S (INDIA)
Gopa Kumar S is an Electrical Engineer with over 30 years of experience in safety, standardization, and legal requirements of electrical installations. He is the President of the National Federation of Engineers for Electrical Safety (NFEES), a not-for-profit organization promoting electrical safety.
He has designed and verified several national and international projects and is an internationally recognized electrical safety trainer, having conducted over 1,000 training programs and 100 accident investigations across multiple countries.
He has published numerous articles on shock protection and electrical fire prevention and authored the books The Missing Link and Guide on Electrical Safety in Medical Locations.

Gary is one of the UK’s leading experts on electrical safety. With over 30 years of practical experience in all aspects of electrical safety, including installations and products, he has become a highly respected ambassador within the industry.
He is a published author, an active participant in numerous UK and international committees, and has edited and proofread several major industry publications, including the 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations.
He has worked across all levels, building strong relationships and influencing positive change within organizations such as Affinity Water, CORGI, ECA, Electrical Safety First, NICEIC, and the IET. He is currently Chair (elect) of IEC TC 81 and Vice Chair of IEC TC 37A. He has received the IEC 1906 Award for SPD (2005), Surge Arrester (2021), and Lightning Protection (2021).
He has published over 150 works on lightning, surges, and power quality, and serves as a Qualifoudre Trainer (level 4).

Mitchell Guthrie (USA)
Former Chair of IEC TC 81 and the NFPA 780 Technical Committee, this expert has contributed over 45 years to global lightning protection, grounding, and electrical safety, including work for the U.S. Navy and NATO standards.
